PRIVACY NOTICE UK
(Under the Data Protection Act 1998 this was originally known as the “Data Protection Policy”).
The Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) requires organisations to have a Privacy Notice explaining to the general public how compliance is in place /data are processed. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) then takes this further with some additional elements. Normally this Privacy Notice would include a cookies policy and appear on the website, but in this case as the website is not “UK based”, it would seem more prudent to place it on an “intranet” system for easy access.
Amplified Futures Ltd t/a Go Beyond is based at 84 Egerton Road, Bristol, BS7 8HP, United Kingdom.
We collect and/or process “personal data” and/or “special categories of personal data” as defined in the UK data protection legislation. These data are about employees, students, clients, associates and/or freelancers and are utilised in the provision of our services and/or our administration. All data are processed in pursuance or fulfilment of a contract – be it staff or otherwise.
Whilst we recognise that we are part of a global network, any data collected and/or processed within the United Kingdom remains under our jurisdiction and, as such, are processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation. All feasible security measures are in place – your privacy is important to us.
We may share data with third parties as part of the provision of our services and/or if required to do so by UK law. Data are held in a cloud-based system outside the European Economic Area (EEA), but all reasonable security measures are in place.
Data are retained as long as they are relevant to the purpose(s) for which they were collected. Any data no longer relevant is destroyed by secure means.
None of the above affects your rights under the legislation, in particular, your right to access the data we hold on you. If you wish to request a copy of your data, please submit it in writing/email to a Director.
